description
A
great book from Sergeant-Major Mark Spicer. Spicer is a British
Army sniper insructor and has years of experience in the field of
snipercraft. The book has a lot of high-quality color pictures and
some interesting insight from a British point of view. Especially
the camouflage aspect of snipercraft is well illustrated and explained.
Definitely the prettiest sniper book around.
Contents
1
The Role of the Sniper
2 Selection and Training
3 Camouflage and Concelament
4 Shooting Techniques
5 Tactical Deployment
I
THOUGHT THAT THIS BOOK IS BY FAR THE LEAGUES ABOVE THE REST OF THE
SNIPER BOOKS ON THE MARKET, MARK SPICER GAVE DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS
ON HOW TO CONDUCT YOURSELF IN THE FIELD BEFORE AND AFTER, I.E. MOVEMENT
AND PERSONAL CAMOUFLAGE.THE BOOK ALSO CONTAINED SOME FASCINATING
PICTURES SHOWING WHY AND MORE TO THE POINT WHY SNIPERS HAD NOT PASSED
THEIR SNIPER TESTS. HOWEVER I FEEL THE BOOK COULD HAVE CONTAINED
MORE INFORTION ON OTHER WEAPONS.

Very
good review. I have the book myself and I too am impressed the way
they lay out the techniques and the weapons of the sniper all at
one time.
