The gear was kindly provided to us for testing by MAXpedition. The 2 gun carrying case is a very businesslike bag with two separate compartments for carbine sized rifles. The Bigger "main" compartment can take in an M4 sized AR-15 carbine with the stock fully extended and a 30-round magazine attached.

Rifles with optics mounted on the carry handle will not fit in the bag with a 30-round magazine attached, but this should not be a problem since you should not be transporting your weapons with the magazine attached anyway.

The smaller compartment is a bit shorter than the main compartment. We were able to fit in a SIG 551 with the stock folded. Its a snug fit though and anything longer than that will not fit in nicely. The two compartments zip up via heavy duty YKK zippers and are sufficiently padded.

The case has three pockets on the side. Each pocket has a flap with velcro on them and in addition two straps with 
buckles that enables the stuff inside to be secured nicely. The pouches also have a tightening mechanism via paracord.
These two features keeps everything nicely in place and also helps to avoid noise created by loose objects in the pouches.

The pouches can take a total of 14 30-round AR-15 mags. Unlike many other bags designed for the ar-15 (and similar rifles) this bag doesn't have separate magazine pouches for each individual magazine. This is good, because this way the user has more options as to what to pack in the pouches.

On the backside there is a padded carrying strap that can tightened away via velcro straps if not used.

The zippers sticthing and buckles are all top notch. No loose threads or anything suggesting problems with durability was found. 


All in all the 2-gun case does everything it's supposed to do and does it well.
