charles Daly was a New Yorker who partnered with August Shoverling to create a firearms import business, back in the late 1800’s. Over the years,
the Charles Daly company imported numerous firearms from Europe, to include 1911 pistols, Browning Hi-Powers and 1873 Single Action Revolvers. In 2008, the company formed a new subsidiary, Charles Daly Defense, to design and manufacture wildly popular AR-15 style rifles for distribution within the United States.
