SniperWorld mission: Tactical Scope Mounts Intelligence: you can have the best scope in the world, but if you don't have the proper mounts to affix it to your rifle.  Proper scope mounts will keep your scope tight and on target. Some scope mounts are what's called "tunnel through", where you can actually make use of your iron sights in addition to the scope. This is really handy, since you can use the iron sights for close up shots and the scope for the long distance shots. It has become de facto standardization that the vast majority of scopes have a one inch diameter tube, so if you're not sure what scope mount to get, stick with the one inchers. Almost all scope mounts attach to a weaver or picatinny rail. Once you have your scope mounts and rail affixed to your rifle, you can easily change out scopes if you wish. That's really convenient. When it comes to scope mounts, a lot of guys try to "cheap out" and then they wonder why the mounts come loose, etc. You get what you pay for. Remember that.
