mission: American Flag Patches
Intelligence:
real military snipers are proud to serve their country. If you’re proud of your country as well, share your allegiance with the world by wearing it on your sleeve with an American flag patch. These patches feature a Velcro backing, just like our Air Force fighter pilots wear on their fire-resistant Nomex flight suits. The reason for the Velcro is that, if they get shot down, and they are “Behind Enemy Lines” like Owen Wilson, they pull the flag off the Velcro, and then if they get caught, the enemy doesn’t know what country they’re from. I read once in a magazine about an American pilot whose helicopter was shot down over Iraq, and he managed to make it out of the wreckage and a number of miles away from the crash site, trying to get back to the safety of an allied base. He was caught and questioned by insurgents who hadn’t seen the crash, but he had the foresight to take his Velcro patch off his flight suit. When the insurgents asked him, he said he was a Canadian pilot on a humanitarian mission to deliver food and medical supplies, and his crew had accidentally left him behind when they took off. Bottom line: the insurgents accepted his explanation, shrugged their shoulders, and walked away, leaving him unharmed. So, the bottom line is, if you want to show your allegiance to your country and still be able to talk yourself out of a sticky situation, get yourself a Velcro patch from Sniperworld. Hey, even if you don’t need it for tactical reasons, it’s cheap and it looks cool! Sew it on your jacket, book bag or hat!
