mission: 9mm Ammunition
Intelligence:
the 9 x 19mm parabellum round was first developed in 1901 by the German munitions engineer Gerog Luger for the semi-automatic pistol of the same name. It is one of the most popular handgun cartridges in the world, and is used by various militaries the world over, as well as over 60% of police forces. Parabellum is Latin for “prepare for war”. 9mm recoil is very mild, and trajectory is flat. The 9mm round is effective out to 100 meters. Weights for typical 9mm rounds are 7.45 to 9.5 grain, and velocities are 1,300 to 14,30 ft / sec. In the US Army, the 9mm round has come to replace the .45 ACP as the official sidearm round for the Beretta M9.
