I have owned one of these in .308, for three years now. Without a doubt, the most consistantly accurate rifle I have ever owned, and I have had many. While there are a number accurate rifles manufactured today, the Tikka impressed me with it's ability to shoot well with a large variety of ammunition. It is not finicky about what brand, or bullet weight is chosen. I believe this is a testament to it's being a well built rifle.
