Chambered for the .308 Winchester and 7.62 NATO rounds, the Panther LR-308B Rifle from DPMS Firearms packs a mean punch. The 18 inch chrome-moly steel bull barrel has six grooves and has right hand 1x10 inch button rifling. Its receivers are made of Teflon coated aluminum, providing increased durability and performance. A raised picatinny rail allows advanced optics to be easily mounted, while an A2 stock provides extra stability. The DPMS Panther LR-308B Rifle is an excellent grab.

I just got mine in nov. '08. it was accurate right out of the box. i now have shot about 100 rounds through it, no problems at all, and it will easily hit the target at 200 yards very accurately. this is probably no surprise to anybody who shoots much but i am kind of rookie and am really enjoying my new .308. also i must say that i was recommended this rifle from my friend who is also a cop.
