(5.56x45mm NATO) rifle system with a gas-operated, short-stroke piston. Completely ambidextrous, the FN SCAR has a fully free-floating barrel, multiple integral MIL-STD 1913 mounting rails and a folding stock assembly with adjustable cheekpiece. With its barrel interchangeability and telescoping design, the SCAR could possibly be the most adaptable combat rifle ever.

MY FRIEND HAS ONE IN 5.56 AND IT IS AN EXCELLENT RIFLE.I WANT ONE BUT IN 7.62. IN 7.62 IT WILL PROBABLY BEAT EVERYTHING IN ITS CLASS.EVERYONE WITH A 7.62 WILL ORDER THIS ONE, EVEN WITH THE RECESSION.I WILL NEED FIVE MAGS,PELICAN CASE, GOOD SCOPE, AND 1000 ROUNDS OF GOOD AMMUNITION. I CANNOT WAIT...FN SAYS 2010 JANUARY TO JUNE FOR AVAILABILITY.MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT.

6000 for a 223 this gun better have a good jeep that comes with it fot that money.
